Blues Alley, Washington DC Giclée Art Print (Multi-size options)

NOTE: PLEASE ALLOW 2 WEEKS TO SHIP!
Tucked away on a side street just off Wisconsin Avenue, Blues Alley has always seemed like a secret that's not really a secret. Other music venues in DC have come and gone over the years, some making an indelible mark on our culture, some not so much. This club has seen it all in its long and venerable tenure, and (fingers crossed) it ain't going anywhere anytime soon!
I was lucky enough to catch Dizzy Gillespie here in the late 80's. Being something of an uncultured little punk rock jerk at the time, I wasn't prepared for the lasting effect this show would have on my life. Now something of an aficionado of Blue Note jazz, I credit my cultural sea change to this particular show at this particular venue. (Although some would say that I am still somewhat of a jerk. Some things never change...).
Anyhow, I now present you with this love letter to DC jazz and blues! With many of our other jazz clubs (i.e. Bohemian Caverns) now closed, it's now more important than ever to remember the treasures we still have.
This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!
Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
