Club Charles, Baltimore MD Giclée Art Print (Multi-size options)

New design for 2021! Tucked away in the dodgy cultural corridor just south of North Ave on Charles Street, this Baltimore landmark is probably most famous for being John Waters' favorite watering hole. Boasting its own ghost ("Frenchie"), the Club Chuck is possibly the coolest place still in existence anywhere... it both defines and defies the term "retro." From the alcove to the banquettes, you can always find just the right nook to tuck your hipster ass into, and look good while doing it!
Speaking of looking good, back in the early 90s my unkempt appearance got me mistaken for an auto mechanic by a couple of women whose car had broken down in front of the bar. They plied me with shots of bourbon until the ugly truth came out: I could barely change a flat tire. They shot me a look of disgust then bought me one last bourbon. Ahhh... Baltimore.
I met the lovely actress Michelle Forbes there when she had just begun her stint on "Homicide: Life on the Street." John Waters autographed an Archie comic book for me at the bar. Luminaries such as Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop and Traci Lords all took the waters at Club Charles. Can't argue with those bonafides now, can you?
It's open, it's closed, it's open... rinse and repeat. In an age where your new favorite place can disappear in a heartbeat, do yourself a favor and head over to the Club Chuck for an extra-dirty martini, why don't ya? And why not buy one of these awesome prints to commemorate the spirit of What Makes Baltimore Great?
This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!
Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
