Kenmore Square Citgo Sign Giclée Art Print - (Multi-size options)
NOTE: PLEASE ALLOW 2 WEEKS TO SHIP!
Like a beacon in the night (because, well, it IS a beacon in the night) the Citgo sign that stands sentry over Kenmore Square is much akin to the Eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg. The things this thing has seen since it first appeared in 1940! Sox games, BU students coming and going, and yes, YOUR grimy rock n' roll self coming out of The Rat or Deli Haus at 3am! You simply can't hide from that Eye in the Sky...
Any why would you want to? This sign has become as part of the skyline of Boston as the Pru or Faneuil Hall. Picturesque as it is, I wanted to give it a bit of a Van Gogh "Starry Night" treatment with this print... I hope you dig it!
This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!
Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
