Nightclub 9:30 "Love Letters" Print (Multi-size options)

All of my prints are love letters of sorts, so I decided to jazz up a few of my favorites just in time for Valentine's Day (and beyond)! Garish pinks, purples and cheesy fake glitter effects seemed to evoke the elementary school Valentine cards I loved so much, so this is what I went and did here. Oh, and how about a tattooed heart in there as well, just to pay a little extra love to the cities that rocked? Done & done!

The doorway underneath the Atlantic Building sign stood sentry for the myriad wild times, cool bands and rad denizens that could be found just down the long hallway inside. While the outside of the place was batshit crazy on show nights, I took a different perspective for this print: the entrance in repose. The transom and doorway had such character that I felt they needed to be spotlighted all unto themselves. While the Atlantic Building plaque is still affixed to the facade of 930 F Street NW, it now sits above a J. Crew (oh, the irony!). The neighborhood may have gone high-end since the 80s, but we still have our memories, right?
