Stone Balloon Newark DE 2021 Colors Giclée Art Print (Multi-size options)

Main Street in Newark, Delaware is a magical place, both then and now. While some of the treasured spots are still kicking (Deer Park!) we have lost a few soldiers to time and to real estate redevelopment. The venerable Stone Balloon still exists in name only these days, but those who were fortunate enough to have caught a band or two there know that it's not the same. I have my own memories and have created this print to capture the place the way I remember it (and how you probably remember it too)!
The Ramones, Crack The Sky, Gregg Allman Band, George Thorogood... the list of legendary big players that graced the Balloon goes on. Countless local bands got their due onstage here as well. They sure don't make places like this anymore, so all we have left are the memories. The Stone Balloon (1972-2005) Facebook page is a lively community full of stories, questions and photos... check it out if you want to relive some of the good times, eh?
This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!
Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
