Another great one lost to the shifting sands of time. The Troc building has seen it all - Vaudeville, burlesque, zombie proms, as well as tons of rap and killer rock n' roll. I myself was lucky enough to catch a very much in-their-prime White Zombie there back in the good ol' days (1993?). I saw a whole lot more at the Troc as well, and was as saddened as anyone when it shut its doors in 2019. Another one bites the dust...
And this is why I immortalize these venues in my artwork... they were all pivotal place for me during my upbringing and beyond. With the COVID crisis, we stand to lose a whole lot more live music spots, a fate I cannot even begin to comprehend. So instead of shedding my tears just yet, I choose to surround myself with good memories of killer live rock and fun times had with pals. I hope you feel the same way!
This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!
Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
