Kaufmann Clock, Pittsburgh PA
Long before cell phones made “Where are you?” a constant question, Pittsburghers had a simpler plan: meet under Kaufmann’s Clock. The department store is gone, but its big bronze timekeeper still hangs over Fifth and Smithfield, keeping watch over Downtown and more than a century’s worth of rendezvous. Put a little old-Pittsburgh punctuality on your wall, eh?
