Commissioned works are original artworks that are made exclusively for you and are sold as part of my public collection.

This fee includes the complete creation of an original Steve Shook, Ink artwork. We will set up a time and place for a one photo session of the subject (within the MD/VA/DC area). I do an initial edit of the photo shoot and I pick what I like as the best images, usually 3-5 choices. Then together we pick the best one from which I’ll create the original digital artwork in my signature style.
We'll use email for previewing and approvals. There will be two rounds of comments and approvals after the base photo is chosen.
The final artwork will be a one-of-a-kind 16"x20” clear-coated pre-stretched canvas for the basic package. Custom sizing is available by request (final cost may vary). In addition, I will include three 8"x10" signed paper giclée prints of the finished art. Additional signed prints are also available at retail cost.
NOTE: I can also usually work with a pre-existing photo which you provide as long as it is high enough resolution, is copyright free and fits within my artwork style.
Turnaround time, start to finish, is usually about one month.
