Tucked away behind my old office building in Kendall Square in Cambridge MA, the Necco (aka "The New England Confectionery Company") factory loomed large and (mostly) smelled pretty great. It now seems to be a biotech company - kinda like the rest of the neighborhood - but we still have our memories, right? So close your eyes and imagine taking a deep whiff of burning sugar...
