The Big Hunt, Washington DC
That legendary Big Hunt facade in Dupont Circle was hard to miss, even after the place went dark and the crowds moved on. In this shot, the iconic facade is still hanging on, though plastered with graffiti—a lingering phantom of a legendary DC dive bar on borrowed time before being wiped away completely. Bathed in the flat light of day, the battered entrance sits in that strange, suspended window after the last drink was poured but before the building’s next life began. It’s a pure liminal moment, capturing the ghost of thousands of late-night memories fading right off Dupont's changing block.
