Looking up at that glowing neon sign along Wisconsin Avenue always hits me with a heavy dose of nostalgia, back when it was still the Georgetown Theater and not the slick Compass Coffee it is today. Catching the classic red-and-blue sign lit up against the dark, empty sidewalk brings back a flood of old memories of movie runs and different times on this block. With the late-night quiet replacing the usual daytime coffee rush, the illuminated storefront sits in an atmospheric, suspended hush. Bathed in that crisp, colorful glow, it feels like a total liminal time-capsule—where vintage DC culture, personal nostalgia, and the neighborhood's constantly changing identity quietly overlap in the dark.

Each photograph is printed with an integrated white border and includes the Steve Shook artist mark in the lower-right border. The listed dimensions refer to the full paper size, including the border. 8"x10" photo prints have a 0.5" white border and the 11"x14" version has a 1" white border. Looks great both matted and unmatted!

The print can be placed directly into a standard-size frame without a mat or displayed in a larger frame with a mat. Print is sold unframed. Mat is not included.
